My roommate and I lived at Villas by the Lake for about a year and had a good experience! This place is really one of the more affordable spots in Vernon Hills. There's a huge parking lot on site and plenty of available spots, even for guests! Villas by the Lake is super close to local eateries, shopping centers, and grocery stores. Pace Realty Group management was always very friendly and professional. They answered our questions and concerns promptly and were always very responsive. Even though our building and unit was on the older side with regular aging wear/tear I found that our building was always well maintained and cleaned regularly. The maintenance staff is awesome! They are always busy since there are a ton of buildings to service, but after a short wait they always provide top quality service if something breaks or needs fixing
